So you don't have the time for eating healthy? Check this out

I start my day with a protein smoothie that has many different greens so I feel I get much of my protein and greens in before I even get in my car!

Here is a great recipe that is easy I found so if you want you can do the same.

Barry Zito Protein Smoothie

I was thumbing through ESPN the Magazine and found this smoothie recipe by Major League Baseball pitcher Barry Zito. He says, “I came up with this after a bit of experimentation.” Usually that is when the best smoothies are made, I think. He added, “Protein smoothies can suffice for a few of your meals, but a lot of the remade smoothies or shakes are too chalky. Stevia is a key ingredient because the raspberries can be bitter.”

Ingredients:

* 2 cups of various frozen berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
* 2 cups of vanilla rice milk
* 2 scoops of whey protein
* 1/2 packet of Stevia.

Simply blend all the ingredients until smooth and pour into a glass

Skipping workouts when you'd rather hibernate on the couch is tempting, but do it too often and it’s bound to affect your bottom line. The question is, how much? Researchers at Vanderbilt University Medical Center found that women moved the least in winter, translating to a 10% drop in calorie burn compared with summer months.
Need help getting motivated to move? Instead of hauling to the gym, try a fun winter-only or indoor activity that burns just as many calories as a typical workout. From ice-skating to bowling, you'll surely find something you love

Go Snowshoeing Time: 22 minutes
Bonus Benefit: Instead of sipping cocoa in the ski lounge while your companions hit the slopes, try this low-impact sport that lets you observe the lovely winter scenery.

Ice-Skate 'Round the Rink Time: 26 minutes
Bonus Benefit: Even if you spend most of the time steadying your balance, all that wobbling will do your body good.

Go Sledding Time: 26 minutes
Bonus Benefit: Thrill kids and grandkids by joining in on their favorite winter pastime. Little will they know that all that walking uphill is burning calories and toning your butt!

Start a Snowball Fight Time: 38 minutes
Bonus Benefit: Hitting your hubby with a snowball may improve your relationship. Marriage counselor Michele Weiner-Davis says it's important to keep the playful spirit alive with your partner.

Get Down and Boogie Time: 40 minutes
Bonus Benefit: Whether you're grooving at a wedding or shimmying around your kitchen, both kinds of dancing burn the same amount of calories. Let loose and have fun!

Build a Snowman Time: 44 minutes
Bonus Benefit: Stir up fond childhood memories by jumping in with the kids to make your own Mr. Frosty. When you bend down to gather snow, try to incorporate squats for added toning.

Go Bowling Time: 60 minutes
Bonus Benefit: Break out of your weekend rut by knocking down pins with your spouse and kids — or make it a fun girl’s night out!

Play with Your Pet Time: 60 minutes
Bonus Benefit: Pets help their owners heal emotionally, physically, and mentally, according to Marty Becker, DVM. To truly burn calories with Fido, aim for moderate to active play that includes walking or running.

Walk Laps around the Mall Time: 36 minutes
Bonus Benefit: Window shop without pausing to spend a dime.
